Carpet of yellow

You may just be able to spot the kangaroos (above) checking out the caravan park earlier in the week

With all the rain the vege garden is flourishing - we need some campers who like their greens!

Above and below the airport is swathed in a carpet of yellow as the Canola also flourishes.

Eddie (above) getting ready to take off in the Maule this morning - those newly painted wings sure look good!!
Spring is just around the corner with some glorious flying days to look forward to.

Windy day

Gavin and Greg (above) flew down from Dubbo today in the Baron for some RAA training in the EuroFox. Strong winds prevailed all day.

As you can see Jake (above) is getting taller by the minute. He is also continuing his training in the EuroFox.
We have had quite a lot of rain over the past week or so. The canola fields on the airport are looking very healthy so fingers crossed all the farmers' yields will be high this season.

Maree goes gliding!

We were invited to attend the opening of the Anti-Cancer Council Art exhibition held in Melbourne last weekend. We are very proud of Kelly (above) who had entered an abstract painting that was chosen to be part of the exhibition. The exhibition now goes on display travelling around the country side.

Maree (above) experienced an exciting flight with Rolf in GVY yesterday afternoon.
Weather continues to be fickle - good one day and either raining or foggy the next. Eddie is still planting trees!!

Winter is here!

Greer (above) visiting from Melbourne experienced a great flight with Rolf in GVY this afternoon

Dave (above) continues to make the most of every opportunity soaring in HDK this afternoon. As far as awards go Dave is definitely our most consistent pilot.

Ben (above) giving the thumbs up has continued his flight training with Rolf

Father and son, Dennis and Shaun have also continued their training in the EuroFox. Earlier in the week Eddie took well deserved time out with a 2 hour flight in PC.
Weather has been unstable with cloud base today of 3500-4000 feet. Winter is here! Temp. at 1500hrs 13 degrees.
Bookings are coming in earlier this year so if you plan on hiring a glider during the season please do so as soon as you know your plans
