Coldest day of the year so far
Young visitors Bronte and Hudson enjoyed a tour of the hangar.
Leo (pictured centre) obtained his pilot certificate
while Jan is continuing instruction with Don.
Yesterday the temp. was a chilly 10.7 degrees. This did not deter Dave from taking two flights in his LS4 however. Climbing to seven thousand Dave's teeth were chattering.

Mid winter flying
Today Michihiro dropped in for a few days to have a look around but unfortunately there was only soaring on the first day of his visit. In winter we require cold south winds for good soaring the exact opposite to what makes good soaring in the summer!
Terry took his self launcher for a fly to blow out the cobwebs
