Hot dusty days followed by cooling rain
The past few days has seen the temperature soar into the 40's. Yesterday was hot, windy & dusty with limited visibility however; this morning we woke to lovely rain falling softly on the tin roof. Zach has had to contend with the hot conditions (as well as jet lag) since arriving from Canada last Saturday. He has coped extremely well and is doing a great job working with Eddie. Temperature at 1500hrs a mild 22 degrees.

Congratulations Shang on first Solo
Dieter was all smiles after his unit was placed in a lovely spot in the Caravan Park by those great movers and shakers the Haley boys.
Bob (above) wasted no time towing HD out to the runway early this afternoon just as the cumulus was forming. Terry had taken off earlier in PC making the most of the good gliding conditions. Bob ended the day with a 300km flight.
