Fantastic - Takeshi!

I think I've found the red nose that mysteriously disappeared from Rudolph last Christmas.

 Shaun and Ralph (above) with Mike enjoyed some good soaring in UIZ this afternoon. A warm welcome to Mike who has travelled all the way from England to get a taste of Aussie gliding.

Fantastic effort from Takeshi today. Takeshi flew his Diamond Goal with another 300kms practising for a 500km tomorrow.

 Congratulations to Takeshi and Terry. They flew a 514 km triangle in the Janus C-Turbo.

 Great to see Rod (above) with Jake. Rod has had some good local soaring in HDK.

A very warm welcome to Hannu (above). Hannu arrived at SportAviation earlier in the week to temperatures of over 40 degrees - a bit of difference to the 0 degrees in Finland!! Anyway Hannu has settled into the caravan park well and also into the gliding with the first outlanding of the season today. A well chosen paddock up near Lockhart and not long before retrieval with the EuroFox.

 Great to see Gerry & Steve (above) who flew in for a bit of gliding in the Twin Astir.

As you can see Ralph (above) with Eddie and (below) is in top form already and the season has only just begun!!

Tim, Rolf, Terry & Andrew made the most of best day so far this season with cloud base of 9000 to 11,000 feet. Temperature at 1500hrs 37 degrees.
