Mike of Aviation and General Engineering has just finished the long process of designing and fitting a new fuel management system for the Stemme motorglider.

A Dimona motorglider has just arrived from America by container for Mike to check and put on the Australian register.

Coldest day of the year so far


Young visitors Bronte and Hudson enjoyed a tour of the hangar.

while Jan is continuing instruction with Don.
Yesterday the temp. was a chilly 10.7 degrees. This did not deter Dave from taking two flights in his LS4 however. Climbing to seven thousand Dave's teeth were chattering.

Ingo had a busy weekend, doing some flight instructor training with lothar and taking Johannes and Jutta's grand daughter Nadine for a flight, Supervising Bernie with his first flight in the LS4 with a total of 17 flights for the Weekend

Mid winter flying


Today Michihiro dropped in for a few days to have a look around but unfortunately there was only soaring on the first day of his visit. In winter we require cold south winds for good soaring the exact opposite to what makes good soaring in the summer!
