Peter's back in town

A rainy day. Perfect scone weather!! Bracey, Marg & Rolfe couldn't resist Eddie's scones this afternoon.

Great to see Peter (above) back at SportAviation. He enjoyed a flight with Eddie in the EuroFox yesterday. Peter hopes to be back in a month or so for another short visit.

SportAviation Caravan Park -construction commences

All the contractors (plumber, electrician, earthworks, sewerage treatment and concretor)met with co-ordinator Neil early this morning to finalise the construction schedule.

The shire was first off the mark with the installation of the fire fighting hydrants.

With the site meeting over Mike Wheatley and his team began the foundations for the ammenities block.

Meanwhile Bob (above) from Wagga Wagga tried his hand at flying the EuroFox with great results. Yesterday Ron also continued with his instruction in the EuroFox.

Ray had a terrific flight in the clear still air with Rolfe. Lovely sunny days - perfect weather for building a caravan park!

Scones anyone?

Terry & Eddie (top) enjoyed a devonshire tea this morning. Eddie's scones, fresh from the oven and topped with jam & cream were delicious!! Lovely to see Jo & Tony (middle) who called in for a cuppa on their way to Armidale NSW. Ron (bottom) continued his basic training in the EuroFox.

It's raining it's pouring .....

We have had lovely rain every day this month. Great for greening up the runways but not for flying!! Tim (top & middle with Kel) took advantage of the rainy weather honing up on his 'Wii' skills. Laurel & Eddie managed a few circuits in between showers. Fantastic to see Ross & Glenda back in Toc. Marg has been busy in preparation for son Simon's wedding. Congratulations to Simon & Jess for their upcoming nuptials. Tocumwal has had an interesting long weekend with the Arts fest. Bands playing (under cover) and many events to entertain all the visitors.
